BAS made simple!

Let's face it - no one likes taking time out of their day to complete the BAS. Whether your obligation to the ATO falls on a monthly cycle or quarterly cycle, there are ways to streamline your process.

If your aim is to go paperless and lodge your BAS online, then applying for an AUSkey is the first step in making this become a reality.

From here the ATO will email you a link and password, which will enable you to access the ATO Business Portal.

Obtaining this AUSKey will allow you to login to the ATO Business Portal, lodge the current BAS, and access other information such as BAS lodgement history and contact details.

Just be careful though, because once you are registered with your AUSkey - your paper forms won't arrive by post. You will need to take other measures to ensure that you lodge your BAS on time by the due date.
